I am intentional with our time together—whether that’s getting to know you, thoughtfully considering your questions, or reading between the lines to address the ones you didn’t explicitly ask. That’s why I encourage Q&As—I love deep discussions, nuanced thinking, and breaking down complex topics without making your brain melt.
My clients often call me an “interactive textbook,” which I take as both a compliment and possibly a sign that I need more hobbies. But while I love diving into the details, my real focus is making sure it all works in real life. After all, training and nutrition don't exist in a perfectly controlled environment. Life happens—stress, busy seasons, travel, sickness, holidays, impromptu "why did I agree to this?" events—you name it. My job is to guide you through all of it without losing your mind while keeping you on track toward your goals and adapting as needed.
More often than not, I’ll send you longer emails than you send me because I want you to understand what we're doing—not just follow instructions. I believe in explaining the why behind the plan so you actually understand how it benefits you. Training should challenge you, but dare I say, it should also be enjoyable. If we're going to do the hard stuff, we might as well make it something you actually look forward to.
My areas of expertise include hypertrophy, strength, and endurance. Or, as I like to put it: getting you strong, jacked, and lean. No matter your background, I can help. My style? Laid-back, encouraging, and—let’s be honest—emoji-laden. I like to keep things fun while still delivering the depth and detail you need to succeed.

"Nick Harden's knowledge is the real thing — genuinely worth paying for, and I say that as someone who's been lifting on and off for years and knows enough to tell the difference. The biggest difference he's made comes down to one thing: he knows when to pull back. That sounds simple, but it's the hardest part to get right on your own. Left to my own devices I push until something breaks or I burn out and quit. Nick reads the signs and tells me when it's time to deload before I dig a hole — and the result is that I've stayed consistent longer than I ever have in my life. That consistency has paid off. I'm 45 and actually putting on muscle, which is not something most guys my age can say. He's also taught me the mechanics behind the lifts — not just "do this," but why, and how to move so I'm building instead of grinding myself into an injury. I train smarter and I train hurt-free. One bonus that won't apply to everyone: theology happens to be a mutual interest, and I've enjoyed getting into those discussions with him along the way. Not why you hire a strength coach, but a good reflection of the kind of guy he is. If you're serious about getting stronger and staying in the game for the long haul, I can't recommend Nick highly enough."

"Nick was not only a phenomenal coach throughout our entire time working together, but just a great person too. He is always more than happy to answer and and all questions asked. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to all things fitness/nutrition which helped me learn so much, and I thought I already knew a lot! "I worked with Nick as my online strength training coach for three months, following an upper–lower split program. What stood out immediately is how patient and easygoing he is as a person. He’s genuinely great to work with and communicates clearly. Nick is also extremely knowledgeable, especially compared to many coaches I had before who rely purely on their own experience in the gym. His academic background really shows in the way he explains exercises, muscle activation, recovery, and programming choices. If you want to understand why you’re doing certain exercises and how to get the most out of them, this is a huge plus. He doesn’t push a standard template. Instead, he actively adjusts exercises when something feels off and looks for alternatives that suit you better. One thing I appreciated a lot was his attention to technique. I recorded every exercise, and Nick gave detailed feedback on posture and execution for each video, which helped me improve quickly and safely."
