"Offers progression based on 10RM. Its good for that but does not actively change progression reccomendations based on the old system where you had to put in soreness and fatigue points after each set. I guess this is all to help promote the RP hypertrophy app which is fair enough. It does make the template suboptimal though."

All you need for the first year or so of training

"This template is definitely simple, but in the best way possible. Beginners, and even early intermediates, don't need complex at all to get amazing results. This template takes away any confusion about what you need to do: exercises, reps, sets, weight. I did have a couple of technical questions after I purchased it, specifically about software and using excel, but Team RP responded very quickly and helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. It's been great ever since."

Never gets boring - very flexible and easy to use

"Years back I did CrossFit, and then moved to the RP 4-day MPT. After turning 50, recovery started taking longer and abs weren't as important, so I was looking for something more manageable and flexible that I could continue for the long haul. I switched to the 3-day STT and have used it for a few years without it ever getting stale. With so many choices for each targeted muscle, I can continue to mix up my workouts to keep them challenging and prevent getting bored. I don't have to wander around the gym wondering what to do next, and I love being able to go back and see how I've progressed when setting my new 10RM for the next 7 weeks."

Simple and effective

"It’s a simple program, as the name suggests, but pretty solid. It enables you to add some variation by rotating through different exercises in every cycle, and it does the periodization for you. Sure, you can get similar templates for free, but usually you’ll have to do the volume/load manipulation and exercise swapping yourself."

Q&A

It's suitable for intermediate lifters?
These templates can certainly be used by intermediates!
Can we adjust the training program in function of our schedule ?
The number of days you select when purchasing is the number of days the template will be set to and it cannot be changed, provided it would be a different template.
Hi I saw a review that mentioned no shoulder pressing is that movement covered by others in the template?
There are drop downs for the movements. If it is not available under the vertical pressing, you could always make a note inside the template that you are doing a shoulder press!
Is this Male Physique Template 2.0? Or was that replaced by the new app?
These are different then the male physique templates, and the app is the next iteration of those templates. These are geared towards those that are closer to being a beginner and want something simple.
Are these programs split or full body? I am only able to do 3 days out of Tu/We/Th/Fr so will have a back to back day
