Last time, we brought you Recipes. Before that, we introduced our AI Food Scanner.
Now, we're back with our biggest update yet. In true RP Strength form, we've given the RP Diet Coach app a complete transformation!
Every screen has been redesigned with a cleaner look, new typography, and full dark mode support. We've also made everyday tasks faster and easier. Your plan, targets, history, foods, and recipes all carry over exactly as they were. Here's what's new.
Upgrade #1: Dark mode is here
Head to More › Settings › Appearance and choose Auto, Light, or Dark.
Auto follows your phone's appearance settings, switching between light and dark whenever your phone does. Your preference is saved to your account, so it carries over to your other devices, too. Note: The app starts in Light mode, so you'll need to switch it yourself.
Upgrade #2: Check in with one tap
Every meal and workout card now has a check-in box. Tap it to check in, and tap it again to undo.
Ate something different? Swipe left on a meal and choose Manual to check in with your own macros, without changing the foods in your planned meal.
Upgrade #3: Rebalance your day with one button
If your day is off track, the Day Stats pill at the bottom of Schedule shows which macros are off and by how much.
Tap Adjust to rebalance calories across your remaining meals without changing your day's total. That's right: the old wand is now the Adjust button.
Upgrade #4: Your day now adjusts itself
This one's a big deal. Check in a meal that comes in over or under its targets, and the app can resize your remaining empty meals to help you hit your targets for the day.
If your check-in puts your day off track, the app will ask whether you'd like to adjust your remaining meals. Tap Adjust meals to apply the changes, or Leave them to keep your meals as they are.
Only remaining empty meals that aren't locked or checked in will be adjusted. Meals you've already filled with food will stay as they are.
Want to choose how this works? Head to More › Settings › Advanced settings › Automatically adjust meals after check-in.
You have three options:
- Always: Automatically adjust your remaining empty meals after a check-in.
- Ask: Decide each time. This is the default setting.
- Never: Leave your remaining meals unchanged so you can adjust them yourself when needed.
Upgrade #5: A smarter schedule
Your Schedule has several improvements to help you see where your day stands and navigate your plan more easily.
Spot over-target macros. Go over a macro, and it turns red in Day Targets, the pinned macro band, and the meal itself.
Jump between weeks. Swipe the day strip to jump a whole week, or tap the WK chip to open a month calendar. You can also jump straight back to today.
Log your weight right on Schedule. On weigh-in days, enter your weight directly on the weigh-in card.
