The new AI Food Scanner turns logging into a two-second task. Just snap a photo of your meal and the app identifies each food, estimates your portions, and drops them into your meal as editable ingredients you can adjust, swap, or scale.

Got a packaged product? Scan the barcode. Not in the database? Scan the nutrition label instead. One camera, three ways to log, all built to get you back to your life faster.

Here's how it works

1. Log a whole meal from one photo

Point your camera at any meal, tap the shutter, and the AI identifies each food, estimates portions, and builds an editable ingredient list. Change an amount, swap a food, remove something you didn't eat, then tap Add to meal.

2. Fine-tune your meal in seconds

The AI gives you a fast starting point, but if something looks off, the Portion size card lets you scale the entire meal up or down with one tap, or type the calories and the app automatically adjusts the portions across every ingredient.

3. Forgot to take a photo? No problem!

Simply type what you ate, like "chicken burrito bowl with rice and guacamole," and you'll get the same editable ingredient list you'd get from a photo.

4. One camera with three ways to log

The AI Food Scanner is the newest way to log, and your familiar Barcode and Label scanners are still right where you need them. They're all available from the same Camera icon next to Add foods, so whether you're logging a meal or a packaged product, everything starts in one place. now the little things matter too, so here's what else got cleaned up during this update release:
