About me - I'm married and a mom to Tate (human) and Ryder (dog). I love dogs, watching football, and fitness! I stay active with lifting, triathlons, and playing basketball.
Why did you start coaching? I love connecting with people. It's so rewarding to help people sort through the misinformation that's out there surrounding nutrition and training and helping them find a sustainable plan that works for their goals and their lifestyle. There's not much better than helping people become healthier and feel better!
What is your coaching style? Understanding, encouraging, and realistic. I want to help you fit your diet into your life, not your life into your diet.
What kinds of clients do you work with? As a registered dietitian, I've worked with a variety of clients who have a variety of needs, including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer survivors, PCOS, hypothyroidism, post-menopausal, Crossfit athletes, endurance athletes, strength goals, hypertrophy goals, and general healthy lifestyle improvement!
What is your favorite part of coaching? The non-scale victories. Clothes fitting better, feeling more energetic, doing more reps or more weight in the gym, not getting out of breath doing something that used to wear you out, feeling like you're creating healthier habits, learning how to incorporate all foods into your diet, having a better relationship with food!
What type of client would be the best fit to work with you? Anyone willing to be coachable, who wants to learn, and is ready to commit. Anyone with general health goals or performance goals, together we can find what works for you while incorporating the scientific principles proven to work.
