Gerald Ernat is a seasoned Sports Dietitian with a strong academic background and extensive real-world experience. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, & Dietetics from Illinois State University and went on to complete his Dietetic Internship at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. After becoming a Registered Dietitian, Gerald continued his education at Saint Louis University, where he served as an RD and Graduate Assistant. He completed his Master’s in Nutrition & Physical Performance, graduating magna cum laude, while actively contributing to research and data collection in the field.
Currently, Gerald is a dedicated Sports Dietitian for the military, where he plays a crucial role in enhancing the fitness and health of soldiers, helping them achieve their peak athletic potential. With a wealth of experience, having guided over 1,000+ individuals toward their nutrition and fitness goals through both in-person and online coaching, Gerald is well-versed in creating personalized, effective strategies for success.
In his free time, Gerald is passionate about strength sports, competing in powerlifting, strongman, Scottish Highland Games, and also training for hypertrophy. His involvement in these disciplines has provided him with unique opportunities to collaborate with some of the strongest athletes in the world. Gerald’s philosophy centers on the integration of scientific knowledge with practical, actionable advice, ensuring his clients achieve their health, physique, and performance goals.
