Sport Nutrition Coach
Meagan is a sports dietitian and also holds records in the powerlifting world for both USPA and WUAP. Meagan works for a sports science institute where she uses nutritional principles backed by science to support elite athletes, and was the dietitian for the Chicago White Sox throughout the 2017 season. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), which is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the United States and internationally. Meagan has been helping strength athletes to fuel for performance and change body composition for several years now, and is the team dietitian for USA Weightlifting. In 2016, she was the sports dietitian for the Chicago Cubs Triple-A affiliate (the Iowa Cubs) when the Cubs won the World Series. Meagan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Illinois State University. She then completed her dietetic internship with a sports nutrition emphasis, and received her Master of Science degree from Northern Illinois University.
About me - Born and raised in Chicagoland, currently live just across the Mississippi River in Iowa. I’m married with a growing number of plants. Reppin that Auntie life since 2002! I compete in powerlifting and I’m the team dietitian for USA Weightlifting (come at me bro, they're both barbell sports!). I make it a goal to visit a beach and the mountains as much as I can.
Why did you start coaching? I love strength sports, nutrition, and helping other people to successfully combine the 2 into a healthy lifestyle.
What is your coaching style? Realistic about expectations, tough love when needed to stay on track towards goals, also supportive of big picture and non-scale wins which lead to greater long-term health.

What type of client would be the best fit to work with you? Someone who is willing to work hard and not make excuses for themselves, yet also understands that this is a learning process as not to beat themselves up if life happens
What you'll get:
Choose from plans structured by an RP coach, each tailored to achieve your specific needs and backed by science. Whether you opt for a diet plan, a training plan, or a combination of both, you'll receive 1:1 expert guidance from your coach via email exchange with very little left to chance.
- Diet Plan: Focus on your nutritional goals with a customized diet plan. Your coach will help you dial in your macros, whether you aim to lose fat or gain muscle. Full meal plans/recipes will not be provided but you will receive guidance on the proper amount of protein, carbs, and fats to consume daily with a list of recommended foods!
- Training Plan: Focused solely on weight training with a plan designed to fit your fitness level and goals. Please check with our help desk if you have sport-specific training goals.
- Combo Plan: Get the best of both worlds with a plan that integrates diet and training for comprehensive progress.
With all plans, you are expected to proactively check in with your coach twice a week with updates and questions. It's important to note that the coach will respond to your updates rather than initiate contact on their end. Your coach will monitor your weekly progress through these check-ins and make any necessary adjustments for you based on your feedback.
You'll have unlimited email access to your coach, ensuring you get timely responses to your queries: within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends (May vary based on the coach's schedule). Your feedback and questions are necessary for your coach to make the most informed decisions on your behalf for your plan so do not be shy about contacting them for help!
